Activating innovation through art

Technological progress has brought unprecedented convenience and access, but it has also made it easier than ever to opt for separation. Conversation often happens behind closed doors, separated by location, credentials, identity, and curated circles. Yet we know that cross-functional collaboration is essential for true innovation to thrive. 

 

In this fragmented landscape, leadership needs support to grow a collaborative culture and community, which is hard but necessary.

The question is: how do we create a quality environment where people come together non-transactionally, build meaningful friendships, and make something great together?

Visionary Crossings started as an experiment with a simple hypothesis: art can be the center of gravity.  Contrary to popular belief, art and science share much in common. Both are messy, iterative, and grounded in hands-on exploration. This created common ground. Over 200 people gathered to witness the movement, and innovators supported the cause by purchasing the artwork. Every artwork sold out before the opening reception, and the sense of momentum was undeniable.
